Youcare Pharmaceutical's (SHA:688658) unit, Beijing Yuekang Kechuang Pharmaceutical Technology, has secured approval from the US Food and Drug Administration to conduct clinical trials on YKYY029 injection, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.
The pharmaceutical company will trial the drug as a hypertension treatment, the filing said.
The company's shares fell over 2% during afternoon trade.
