Western Region Gold (SHA:601069) plans to fully acquire Xinjiang Meisheng Mining for 1.66 billion yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Saturday.
The gold mining company's shares slipped less than 1% at the close of Monday's trade.
Meisheng Mining is a unit of the company's controlling shareholder, Xinjiang Nonferrous Metals Industry (Group). It owns the Kateba'asu gold-copper-polymetallic mine in China's Xinyuan County.
