Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels' H1 Loss Narrows

The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (HKG:0045) reported HK$289 million in attributable loss for the six months ended June 30, narrowing from a loss of HK$448 million a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Wednesday.

Loss per share narrowed to HK$0.17 from the HK$0.27 posted a year prior.

The company generated HK$3.28 billion in revenue during the first six months of the year, down 29% from the HK$4.62 billion in the year-ago period.
