China Shipbuilding Industry to be Delisted From Shanghai Bourse; Shares Up 3%

China Shipbuilding Industry (SHA:601989) will be delisted from the Shanghai Stock Exchange on Aug. 13, according to a Thursday bourse filing.

The last trading day of the shipbuilder, which will be merged and absorbed by China CSSC Holdings (SHA:600150), is set on Aug. 12.

China Shipbuilding's shares jumped over 3%, while China CSSC's shares rose less than 2% during the morning trade.
