MAG Silver reported higher earnings in the second quarter on the back of stronger sales across the board.
The miner on Monday posted net income $33.4 million, up from $21.6 million in the comparable quarter a year ago.
Sales rose to $186.5 million from C$167.1 million. The quarter's results were made up of silver sales that rose to $131 million from $128.9 million, while gold sales nearly doubled to $31.1 million from $17.1 million. Lead sales was virtually flat at $9.1 million and zinc sales rose to $22.1 million from $20.3 million.
