Hytera Communications (SHE:002583) posted first-half attributable net profit of 93.6 million yuan, down 42% from 162.4 million yuan the previous year.
Earnings per share slid to 0.0515 yuan from 0.0893 yuan, according to a filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
The communication equipment maker's operating revenue fell 18% year over year to 2.26 billion yuan from 2.74 billion yuan.
Shares of the company rose 1% in recent trade.
