Sun Hung Kai's Profit Surges 1,076% in H1

Sun Hung Kai (HKG:0086) recorded a 1,076% rise in attributable profit in the first half of 2025 to HK$887 million from HK$75.4 million in the year-ago period, a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Earnings per share were HK$0.453 in the half year, up from HK$0.039 in the corresponding period of the last year.

Total income for the alternative investments and wealth management company rose 44% to HK$2.80 billion in the interim period from HK$1.95 billion a year prior.

The firm declared an interim dividend of HK$0.12 per share for the six months, payable to shareholders of record on Sept. 10.
