Orezone Gold (ASX:ORE) found high-grade gold mineralization during a recent drilling at its Bombore Gold Mine in Burkina Faso, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were of up to 1.6 grams per tonne (g/t) over 48 meters, including 4.9 g/t gold over 9 meters.
The company said that drilling will continue in the second half of 2025 on multiple fronts as part of its long-term goal to increase Bombore's current stated global resource from 5 million ounces to a targeted 7 million to 10 million ounces in the longer term.
The company's shares fell 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
