Leader Harmonious Drive Systems (SHA:688017) attributable profit rose 46% to 53.4 million yuan in the first half from 36.6 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Shares rose 1% during late morning trading on Monday.
Earnings per share at the precision transmission company grew 34% to 0.2915 yuan from 0.2170 yuan in the prior-year period.
Operating income increased 46% to 251.4 million yuan from 172.4 million yuan in the year-ago period.
