Shengyi Electronics (SHA:688183) plans to construct a high-multilayer computing power circuit board or PCB plant for a total of 1.90 billion yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse disclosure on Saturday.

The Chinese circuit board products manufacturer's shares jumped less than 5% during Monday's morning trade.

The plant, which is a continuation of the phase II construction of the Ji'an multilayer PCB factory, will produce 700,000 square meters of PCBs annually.

The total cost includes construction and equipment costs for the phase II project. An additional investment of 1.75 billion yuan was planned for the project.

The project will be constructed in two phases, with phase I to start trial in 2026 and phase II in 2027.
