China MeiDong Auto Warns of Wider H1 Loss; Shares Slip 1%

MT Newswires Live08-21

China MeiDong Auto (HKG:1268) expects to record an attributable loss of at least 800 million yuan in the first half of 2025, widening from 30 million yuan a year prior, a late Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Shares of the passenger vehicle company were down 1% in Thursday afternoon trading.

The firm attributed the forecast to the lower domestic consumption power, supply and demand imbalance of passenger vehicles, and intensifying price wars.
