Shandong Iron and Steel (SHA:600022) returned to an attributable profit of 12.5 million yuan in the first half of 2025 from an attributable loss of 968.1 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The steel material manufacturer recorded basic earnings per share of 0.0012 yuan from a loss per share of 0.0906 yuan in the prior-year period.
Operating income decreased 19% to 36.8 billion yuan from 45.2 billion yuan in the year-ago period.
