Hengli Petrochemical's (SHA:600346) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half fell 24% to 3.05 billion yuan from 4.02 billion yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Saturday.
The oil and petrochemical company's shares rose less than 1% during Monday's midday trade.
Earnings per share dropped 25% year on year to 0.43 yuan from 0.57 yuan.
The operating revenue slipped 7.7% to 103.9 billion yuan from 112.5 billion yuan in the prior year.
