China Film (SHA:600977) swung to a net loss attributable to shareholders of 110.4 million yuan, or 0.059 yuan per share, in the first half, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange disclosure on Saturday.
The Chinese film producer's attributable profit a year earlier was 203.1 million yuan, or 0.109 yuan per share.
Operating revenue during the same period fell 19% to 1.72 billion yuan from 2.12 billion yuan in the preceding year, the disclosure said.
