China National Chemical Engineering's (SHA:601117) attributable profit rose 9.3% to 3.10 billion yuan in the first half from 2.84 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Earnings per share at the construction company grew 11% to 0.51 yuan from 0.46 yuan in the prior-year period.
Revenue/Operating income decreased 0.2% to 90.4 billion yuan from 90.6 billion yuan in the year-ago period.
Shares rose over 2% during afternoon trading on Tuesday.
