Super HI International Turns to Q2 Profit; Shares Slump 5%

Super HI International (HKG:9658) recorded an attributable profit of $16.4 million yuan in the second quarter of 2025, compared with an attributable loss of $126,000 a year prior, a late Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

Shares of the restaurant operator were down nearly 5% in Wednesday afternoon trading.

Earnings per share stood at $0.03 in the three months, compared with a $0 loss per share in the corresponding period of the last year.

Revenue rose 8.5% to $199 million in the quarter from $183.3 million in the year-ago period.

The firm attributed the turnaround to profit mainly to a decrease in a net foreign exchange loss due to foreign exchange fluctuations.
