Wesfarmers (ASX:WES) said it has appointed Ken MacKenzie as its next chairman, effective after the company's 2026 annual general meeting (AGM) on Oct. 29, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
MacKenzie will succeed Michael Chaney, who stated at the 2023 AGM his intention to retire at the end of his current three-year term, the filing said.
