AC Immune to Cut 30% of Workforce

MT Newswires Live09-04

AC Immune (ACIU) said Thursday it plans to cut its workforce by around 30% as it moves to extend its cash runway and focus investments on most important assets, including three clinical-stage active immunotherapy programs.

The moves follow the executive management's strategic review and are estimated to extend the company's cash resources, which stood at 127.1 million Swiss francs ($158 million) as of June 30, through the end of Q3 2027.

AC Immune said expects to complete the job cuts by the end of 2025 and the cost reductions to be fully effective early next year.
