Hotgen Biotech Gets Five Medical Device Certificates

Beijing Hotgen Biotech (SHA:688068) and its subsidiaries obtained five medical device registration certificates, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.

The certificates are for free thyroxine (FT4) and free triiodothyronine assay kits (magnetic particle chemiluminescence immunoassay), and the total thyroxine (TT4), total triiodothyronine (TT3), and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) assay kits (magnetic particle chemiluminescence immunoassay).

The Chinese in vitro diagnostic device manufacturer also has a cosmetic filing for the Koushengyuan Soothing Fermentation Facial Cleanser, an authorized patent for its gastric cancer diagnostic biomarker based on extracellular vesicle miRNA, and a computer software copyright for the liver cancer risk analysis software.

The company's shares fell over 2% during the late-morning trade Thursday.
