Nam Cheong Terminates Charter Contract

Nam Cheong (SGX:1MZ) terminated a charter contract for one of its offshore support vessels due to the inability of the charterer to fulfill its obligations, according to a Wednesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The contract was initially secured with an offshore wind farm contractor in Japan.

Meanwhile, the charterer remains liable for certain contractual payments.

Shares of the company were down over 1% in Wednesday afternoon trading.
