AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings (TYO:9090) profit attributable to owners of the parent soared to 64% to slightly over 2 billion for the fiscal first quarter from 1.22 billion a year earlier.
The logistics company's earnings per share (EPS) rose to 13.83 yen from 8.33 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.
Net sales jumped 11% to 55.2 billion yen in the three months ended June 30 from 49.7 billion yen from the year-ago corresponding period.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, the company expects attributable profit of 7.3 billion, EPS of 54.21 yen, and net sales of 220.0 billion yen.
The company expects to pay interim and year-end dividends of 16.00 yen per share, each, for the current fiscal year.
