Shares slid 2% during morning trading on Tuesday.
The chemicals manufacturer swung to a loss per share of 0.0369 yuan from earnings per share of 0.0287 yuan in the prior-year period.
Operating income increased 2.8% year over year to 1.81 billion yuan from 1.76 billion yuan, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
