Sichuan Road & Bridge's H1 Profit Falls 13%, Revenue Drops 5%; Shares Up 5%

Sichuan Road & Bridge's (SHA:600039) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half fell 13% to 2.78 billion yuan from 3.19 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Saturday.

The Chinese infrastructure firm's shares jumped nearly 5% during Monday morning's trade.

Earnings per share dropped 14% year on year to 0.32 yuan from 0.37 yuan.

Operating revenue slipped 4.9% to 43.5 billion yuan from 45.8 billion yuan in the prior year.
