Rising Nonferrous Metals Returns to Profit in H1; Shares Down 4%

Rising Nonferrous Metals (SHA:600259) returned to profit in the first half, posting a net profit attributable to shareholders of 72.5 million yuan, or 0.22 yuan per share, according to a Shanghai bourse disclosure on Saturday.

The Chinese rare earths mining company's shares dropped less than 4% during Monday's afternoon trade.

The attributable loss a year earlier was 301.6 million yuan, or 0.90 yuan per share.

Operating revenue dropped 48% to 2.68 billion yuan from 5.13 billion yuan in the previous year.
