DongFeng Automobile's (SHA:600006) monthly production declined to 6,841 units in August from 8,134 units in the prior-year period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Sales slid year over year to 7,126 units during the month from 8,483 units.
Engine production slipped to 15,753 units from 16,982 units, while sales inched down to 16,271 units from 16,838 units.
