China Aerospace Times Affiliates Plan Asset Swaps

A related company of China Aerospace Times Electronics' (SHA:600879) controlling shareholder plans to be part of an asset swap to acquire a subsidiary of the company, according to a Shanghai bourse disclosure on Saturday.

Xi'an Institute of Microelectronics Technology proposed to swap its 67% equity in Xi'an Taiyi Electronics with the entire equity of Beijing Aerospace Xinghua Technology.

The company indirectly owns Beijing Aerospace Xinghua Technology through its unit, Beijing Times Optoelectronics.

Meanwhile, the Beijing Telemetry Technology Research Institute, a public institution managed by Aerospace Times, also proposed to swap certain technical renovation assets with the cryptography and information security assets of another subsidiary, Aerospace Changzheng Rocket Technology.

Another subsidiary, Shanghai Scientific Instrument Plant, plans to swap certain technical renovation assets with the deep space exploration assets of the unit, Shanghai Aerospace Electronics.
