Prospect Resources Extends Copper Mineralization at Zambia Project, Shares Up 5%

MT Newswires Live2025-09-18

Prospect Resources (ASX:PSC) said recent drilling extended copper mineralization in multiple directions at its Mumbezhi Copper Project in Zambia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The results were up to 18 meters at 0.6% copper from 227 meters, and 21 meters at 0.5% copper from 247 meters, including 10 meters at 0.8% from 256 meters.

The drill intercepts underpin "meaningful" upside to the existing mineral resource estimate, with an updated resource targeted for the fourth quarter of the year after receipt of residual assays, the filing added.

The company added that phase 2 drilling continues across the broader Mumbezhi Copper Project, including at West Mwombezhi and Nyungu South.

The company's shares rose almost 5% in recent Thursday trade.
