Hunan Gold (SHE:002155) said its unit Hunan Xinlong Mining on Thursday gradually resumed production at its Xinlong mining headquarters following the approval of Xinshao's emergency management bureau in China's Hunan province.

Operations were halted on Aug. 24 after a rockfall incident killed an employee, according to a Thursday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.

The shutdown is estimated to reduce 2025 net profit by about 52 million yuan.

Shares of the miner slid 3% in recent trade.
