China Merchants Energy Shipping Takes Delivery of LNG Carrier

China Merchants Energy Shipping (SHA:601872) on Sept. 24 took delivery of a 75,000 cubic meter liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier.

The vessel, dubbed Hai Yun, is the first of two such ships ordered in 2022, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The company's LNG segment now operates 27 vessels.

Shares of the fleet operator slumped 1% in recent trade.
