Antipa Minerals Says Resource Definition Drilling at Western Australia Project Confirmed Continuity of Gold-Copper Zones

Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) said results from its pre-feasibility study resource definition drilling program at its Minyari gold-copper project in Western Australia confirmed continuity of gold-copper zones, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The company encountered intercepts of 12 meters at 16.7 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold and 0.1% grade of copper from 143 meters, as well as 18 meters at 2.7 g/t grade of gold and 0.5% grade of copper from 275 meters, the filing said.

A discovery drilling program comprising 247 holes for 21,605 meters, including 205 air core drill holes for 13,332 meters, 40 reverse circulation drill holes for 7,477 meters, and one diamond core drill hole, as well as one diamond core tail, was also completed.

The company's shares tumbled past 6% in recent Tuesday trade.
