Air France-KLM's Third-Quarter Earnings Might Miss Consensus -- Market Talk

Dow Jones10-02

0656 GMT - Air France-KLM's third-quarter EBIT could come at 1.17 billion euros, below Bloomberg consensus of 1.36 billion euros, J.P. Morgan analysts say. This result would be broadly similar to last year's, they say. Underlying group pricing will be the key focus of the airline group's results, alongside Transavia's pricing, they note. "We view consensus expectations as having better caught up with current events, and so the risk-reward on the shares in our view looks less positive with regards to earnings momentum, against a share price which is [up] 40% year-to-date", the analysts write in a note.(cristina.gallardo@wsj.com)
