Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) found gold and copper mineralization during a recent drilling at its Rogozna Gold and Base Metals project's Copper Canyon Deposit in Serbia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 191.2 meters at 0.5 gram per tonne (g/t) gold and 0.5% copper from 4.8 meters, including 110.5 meters at 0.6 g/t gold and 0.6% copper from 68.6 meters, including 25.9 meters at 1.2 g/t gold and 1% copper from 159 meters.
The company has seven rigs operating at Rogozna, with three rigs currently drilling at the Gradina deposit to support the delivery of a maiden mineral resource estimate by late 2025.
The company added that it remains well funded, with cash and liquids totalling AU$52.4 million as of June 30.
Strickland Metals' shares jumped past 3% in recent Wednesday trade.
