Aboitiz Power (PSE:AP) unit PV Sinag Power paid penalties totaling 1.1 million Philippine pesos under the Bureau of Customs' (BOC) Prior Disclosure Program (PDP), which allows importers to voluntarily declare issues in goods declarations and related tax payments.
The BOC confirmed the amount as fully settled on Oct. 3, according to the filing on the Philippine Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
The approval of PV Sinag's PDP application reflects AboitizPower's commitment to compliance and transparency in its operations.
