DongFeng Automobile's (SHA:600006) output plunged to 6,388 units in September from 11,941 units in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Sales fell to 7,433 units from 13,038 units in the prior-year period.
Its Dongfeng Cummins engines saw an output of 20,395 engines, up from 15,168 in September 2024.
Engine sales grew year over year to 17,442 units from 14,699 units.
Shares fell nearly 1% during afternoon trading on Friday.
