Winchester Energy started drilling the JVU-5 production well within the Varn waterflood project in Texas. The well is being drilled on behalf of the Varn joint venture with the company as operator owning a 70% working interest.
Carawine Resources (ASX:CWX)
Carawine Resources said the ASX will automatically suspend quotation of the company's securities at the close of trading on Thursday, with people who sell their shares on the market before the suspension not entitled to any payment for those shares. This comes after the federal court decision approving the compulsory acquisition of all of the company's shares by major shareholder QGold.
Antares Metals (ASX:AM5)
Antares Metals found large-scale shear and vein-hosted copper mineralization within its Mount Isa North project in Queensland, with rock chip samples returning grades up to about 23% copper.
Amplia Therapeutics (ASX:ATX)
Amplia Therapeutics said an updated trial analysis showed its focal adhesion kinase inhibitor, narmafotinib, and chemotherapy combination achieved a 33% objective response rate (ORR), an improvement over the 23% ORR for chemotherapy alone. The trial is investigating narmafotinib in combination with the chemotherapies gemcitabine and Abraxane for the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer.
Taruga Minerals (ASX:TAR)
Taruga Minerals found anomalous gold and copper rock chip results at the Uaroo Ridge prospect, within the recently granted Uaroo East project in Western Australia.
