Pmet Resources (ASX:PMT) produced marketable commercial-grade pollucite concentrate from its Shaakichiuwaanaan Project's Vega Caesium Zone in Canada, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The company reported a concentration of about 12% caesium oxide at 88% global recovery, reflecting the weighted-average of two combined size fractions that individually graded 20% caesium oxide and roughly 12% caesium oxide.

The company started evaluating options to advance and incorporate the caesium opportunity at Shaakichiuwaanaan as a potential future byproduct or co-product value stream, the filing said.

The company's shares rose nearly 4% in recent Thursday trade.
