Oct 14 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Tuesday, with futuresFFIc1 down 0.25%.
* REVOLUT: London-based digital finance firm Revolut's UK banking licence is being held up by British regulators' concerns over whether its risk controls can keep pace with the rapid growth of its overseas operations, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday.
* VODAFONE: Vodafone VOD.L said on Monday that it was working to resolve a network outage affecting its broadband, 4G and 5G services in Britain, after a report that tens of thousands of customers had been impacted.
* RIO TINTO: Rio Tinto RIO.AX, RIO.L said on Tuesday it needs a strong year-end finish to meet its iron ore shipment target, even as Chinese demand gathered pace as global economies front-loaded investment ahead of looming tariffs.
* CONSUMER SPENDING: British consumer spending grew by the least in four months in September as uncertainty ahead of finance minister Rachel Reeves' budget next month and rising energy bills deterred shoppers, a survey showed on Tuesday.
* CYBER INCIDENTS: British cyber incidents classed as "highly significant" have risen by 50% over a year ago, the head of the country's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) will say on Tuesday.
* COMMODITIES: Oil prices rose on Tuesday, gold prices climbed to a record high above $4,100 on increased U.S. Federal Reserve rate cut prospects, and Shanghai copper rebounded as fears of an escalation in U.S.-China trade tensions eased and investors refocused on mine disruptions and supply shortages.
* FTSE: The UK blue-chip index .FTSE gained 0.16% on Monday, having dropped 0.9% in the previous session after Trump threatened 100% tariffs on Chinese imports, reigniting fears of a trade war between the world's two largest economies.
