Gemdale's (SHA:600383) contracted value slid 57% to 2.23 billion yuan in September, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Contracted area fell 53% to 178,000 square meters during the month, the filing said.
Shares rose 2% during late morning trading on Tuesday.
