Satellogic shares were 21% lower, at $3.28, after the company's underwritten public offering of 27.7 million shares priced at $3.25 a share.

Satellogic has also granted underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to 4.15 million additional shares on the same terms.

The proceeds to Satellogic from the offering are expected to be $90 million, assuming no exercise of the underwriters' option to buy additional shares. The offering is expected to close Friday.

All of the shares in the offering are to be sold by Satellogic.

The company anticipates using the proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes.

The stock is 228% higher in the past 12 months.
