African Gold Says Drilling at Ivory Coast Project Confirms Grades, Demonstrates Downdip Continuity

African Gold (ASX:A1G) results from the current drilling program at Blaffo Guetto prospect, part of the Didievi gold project, in the Ivory Coast, confirmed consistent grades at near-true thicknesses and demonstrated downdip continuity, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

It encountered intercepts of 16 meters at 13.2 grams per tonne grade of gold from 197 meters, as well as 13 meters at 2.8 g/t grade of gold from 257 meters.

Two diamond rigs are currently drilling on the Blaffo Guetto resource, while two reverse circulation rigs are scheduled to mobilize in November.
