Two subsidiaries of Jiangsu Zhongtian Technology (SHA:600522) or ZTT won a number of marine projects worth 1.79 billion yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.
The projects won under the marine energy field are the installation of 500-kilovolt submarine and land cables for the Zhejiang Offshore Wind Project, the installation of 500kV submarine cables for the Yangjiang Sanshandao's V & VI Offshore Wind Farm project, and the installation of 35kV submarine cables for the phase II of the Bozhong 26-6 Oilfield Development Project.
The subsidiaries also won two contracts for the deep-sea technology sector. These are the installation of electric-drive marine winches and umbilical cables for the Hunan University of Science and Technology's deep-sea drilling rig research project and the installation of extension submarine cables and deep-sea injection-molded joint devices for the South China Sea Project.
The Chinese producer of power cables for telecommunications' shares dipped less than 4% during midday trade.
