Sector Update: Tech Stocks Edge Higher Pre-Bell Monday

Technology stocks were edging higher pre-bell Monday, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.7% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) advancing by 0.9%.

Apple's (AAPL) iPhone 17 series has outsold the iPhone 16 series by 14% during the first 10 days of availability in the US and China, Counterpoint Research said. Shares of Apple were up more than 2% premarket.

Datavault AI (DVLT) stock was up more than 22% after the company said it has collaborated with Max International as its licensed partner. The partnership will deploy and oversee Swiss Digital RWA Exchange to enhance the service offering of Switzerland's digital regulatory frameworks, Datavault AI said.

Arrow Electronics (ARW) has said that the US government is reversing trade restrictions on its Chinese affiliates for enabling the sale of US components in weaponized drones operated by Iran-backed groups, Reuters reported. Arrow Electronics stock was up more than 3% pre-bell.
