MT Newswires Live2025-10-20

Information technology stocks advanced 0.7% at midday Monday.

The Nasdaq index, the S&P 500 index, and the Dow Jones index all closed 0.5% higher on Wall Street on Friday.

BrainChip Holdings (ASX:BRN) said it will begin the tape-out process for its AKD1500 reference design for volume production in response to customer and market demand. The firm expects the first units from the production mask set to be available by the third quarter of 2026.

On the flip side, the materials sector fell nearly 2%, as gold prices fell from the record high of $4,378.69 per ounce they reached in the previous week.

Dateline Resources (ASX:DTR) completed an independent geophysical assessment of the Colosseum project in California, refining its search for gold by using a 3D magneto-telluric survey combined with gravity data.n All six targets showed the coincident low-density and low-resistivity signatures similar to the known gold-bearing breccia pipes at the project.
