Shares of Prenetics Global tumbled after the company said it would raise $48 million in an offering of stock and warrants.
The stock was down 22% at $13.05. Shares have still more than doubled so far in 2025.
The health-sciences company said after the opening bell Monday that it would publicly offer almost 3 million shares, packaged with warrants to buy more shares, for $16.08 apiece. Shares closed last week at $16.76.
Buyers will receive a Class A ordinary share, a warrant to buy another share at an exercise price of $24.12 and another warrant to buy a share for $32.16, said Prenetics. Each warrant has a five-year expiration date, the company said.
Gross proceeds from the offering are expected to be $48 million. Prenetics could see up to an additional $168 million if the warrants are exercised in full.
