Nanjing Iron & Steel's Q3 Profit Jumps 37%, Revenue Slips 8%; Shares Up 2%

Nanjing Iron & Steel's (SHA:600282) net profit attributable to shareholders in the third quarter jumped 37% year on year to 713.3 million yuan, or 0.1157 yuan per share, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Saturday.

The Chinese steel manufacturer's shares rose less than 2% during Monday's midday trade.

Operating revenue during the same quarter slipped 8.2% from a year earlier to 14.3 billion yuan.
