Larsen & Toubro (NSE:LT, BOM:500510), through its heavy engineering vertical, has secured "significant" orders, between 10 billion Indian rupees and 25 billion rupees, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The company received an order from the US to manufacture vessels for a natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionator project and cartridge for a blue ammonia project in Louisiana.
It also got orders for ammonia and urea processing equipment for two fertilizer plants from Mexico, and critical heat exchangers in the replacement market in Brazil.
In addition, the company has won the order for a refinery and integrated petrochemical complex in Saudi Arabia for the amendment to a critical contract related to the high olefin fluid catalytic cracking (HOFCC) reactor and regenerator revamp.
The vertical also bagged orders in the nuclear power equipment sector for critical equipment.
Meanwhile, in the domestic market, the vertical has secured crucial equipment orders for the 2RK65 heat exchanger package of proprietary material of construction (MOC), for a project at Dahej in Gujarat.
