Beiqi Foton Motor's (SHA:600166) attributable profit surged 1,764% year over year to 335.8 million yuan in the third quarter, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The automobile manufacturer logged basic earnings per share of 0.0424 yuan, up 1,743% from the year-ago period.
Operating income grew 28% year on year to 15.1 billion yuan.
