China Energy Engineering's Q3 Profit Slides 57%

China Energy Engineering (SHA:601868, HKG:3996) recorded a 57% decline in attributable profit in the third quarter of 2025 to 354.3 million yuan, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Hong Kong-listed shares of the Chinese state-owned energy conglomerate were down nearly 5% in Friday afternoon trading.

Earnings per share stood at 0.01 yuan in the three months, with operating revenue jumping 10% to 111.5 billion yuan.

For the nine months ended Sept. 30, attributable profit fell 12% year over year to 3.16 billion yuan, while operating revenue increased 9.6% to 323.5 billion yuan.
