Emcor 3Q Net Up, Co Narrows '25 Adj EPS, Rev Views

Emcor's third-quarter net income rose on double-digit percentage revenue growth, but the company cut the top end of its revenue projection for the year, weighing on shares.

The construction and building services firm posted earnings of $295.4 million, or $6.57 a share, up from $270.3 million, or $5.80 a share, a year earlier.

Third-quarter revenue rose 16% to $4.3 billion, topping the mean analyst estimate of $4.28 billion.

For the year, Emcor now anticipates adjusted earnings in a range between $25 and $25.75 a share, up from the previous $24.50-to-$25.75 a share estimate. On average, analysts surveyed by FactSet had anticipated adjusted earnings of $25.25 a share.

Emcor narrowed its projection for 2025 revenue to a range between $16.7 billion and $16.8 billion from a previous estimate of $16.4 billion to $16.9 billion, and in line with the average analyst target of $16.75 billion.

Emcor shares slid 13% to $672 premarket but were up about 70% for the year to date going into Thursday's session.
