China Film's (SHA:600977) net profit attributable to shareholders in the third quarter skyrocketed 1,463% year on year to 176.7 million yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
Earnings per share surged 1,483% from a year earlier to 0.095 yuan.
Operating income jumped 36% year on year to 1.21 billion yuan.
The Chinese film producer's shares rose less than 2% at the close.
